Press I to open the crafting grid.
Sticks: Place planks in row 1 col 1 and row 2 col 1 to craft 4 sticks.
Torch: Place a plank in row 1 col 1 and a stick in row 2 col 1 to craft a torch.
Stone Pickaxe: Place stones in row 1 col 1, row 1 col 2, and row 1 col 3. Place sticks in row 2 col 2 and row 3 col 2.
Tip: Click an item to put it into the crafting grid in order. If you only have 1 plank and 1 stick, you can place the plank first, then put your torch and pickaxe into the grid, place the stick, then take the torch and pickaxe back out. Now you have room to craft a torch!
